Rep. Leslie Herod is the leader Denver needs.

--

As the Vice President of the Denver School Board, I am proud to endorse Leslie Herod for Mayor of Denver. Representative Herod’s legislative record is nothing short of remarkable, echoing the same tenacity and determination as trailblazers like Wilma Webb. Just like Wilma, Leslie has a proven track record of bridging divides and bringing people together to tackle some of our city’s most pressing issues.

Her work on police reform and the passage of the Crown Act is a testament to her unwavering commitment to justice and equality. Leslie’s leadership on this critical issue has been instrumental in creating positive change for Denver’s communities of color.

When it comes to education, Leslie is a true champion. Her passion for ensuring that every child in Denver has access to a quality education is unwavering and I am confident she will serve Denver Public Schools as a strong partner in our work. Her commitment to our students is unparalleled and her vision for education aligns with the values and goals of our school district.

In the same vein as Wilma Webb, Leslie Herod is a visionary leader who is not afraid to challenge the status quo. She is dedicated to creating a brighter future for all Denverites and I am honored to endorse her for Mayor of Denver. I believe that under her leadership, Denver will continue to thrive and reach new heights.
